Spring Lambs & Suicidal Easter Bunnies

I don’t have any pictures, but Easter Sunday brought out the animals!  The new lambs here aren’t as old as the ones in Oregon, and it’s fun to see them playing in the fields when they’re still so young.  “Gambol” and “frolic” have great meaning this time of year!

And boy, did we see bunnies Easter morning!  We drove in to church for Blaik’s early meetings, as usual, and on the way home there must have been 8 or 10 times that there was a little bunny in the middle of the road, scurrying back for the hedge as I got closer.  And the same on the way back at the regular time for church!  I said they were suicidal, Blaik said that with the economy, maybe the big Easter bunny has made them redundant (laid off, for all you Yanks) and that’s why they aren’t hard at work.  But by the time we came home in the afternoon, they must have been worn out and in bed, because there wasn’t a one to be seen.
