Sunday Funnies: David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Shakespeare

David Tennant

Our Sunday Funnies today are for all you Whovians.  Here’s David Tennant teaching Catherine Tate in an English class, with a bit of Shakespeare thrown in.  Tune your ears to some British accents and come along for the ride.  (And if it doesn’t make sense to you, you’ll just have to watch a few Dr. Who episodes and get hooked like the rest of us!)

ROW80 Update:

Unfortunately, Shakespeare seems to be the class that’s sending me to the overwhelmed side of the room right now.  It’s been a rough week – I started a cold on Sunday that lingered through the week and left me way behind schedule with readings – especially Romeo & Juliet.  Three assignments on it due this week before we start Henry IV.  Sigh.

Needless to say, my ROW80 goals rather fell apart.  I did spend two days with my writing, which included a blog post on Wednesday only because it was my essay from last weeks writing class.  Exercise was way off my radar until yesterday, when I managed a nice walk in a local park.

On the other hand, I’m feeling better now, I’m getting a handle on the upcoming week, and I should have some time for my own WIP tomorrow – hurray!  Click here for some other ROW80 blogs.

So the question of the day is . . . how has your own week of goals been?  Or, possibly more important, who’s your favorite Dr. Who:  Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant or Matt Smith?

  1. Ah Jennifer, I found you! I don’t know why, but every time I’ve tried to come to your site, I was taken to another site and it said the last blog was dated in April. Isn’t that weird? It’s probably me. But I really have been trying to come see you.

Sad to say, but I am not a Whovian. Nor did I know until this moment what a Whovian is/was. I know, where have I been? Locked in the closet? It is apparent that I don’t get out enough. LOL!

Glad to see you’ve stuck with ROW80. Don’t give up. Keep writing. So glad I found you. I have felt so guilty. Yay, I made it! Take care Jen! I’ll be back soon! 🙂

Hey, Karen! Glad you found me! I think you were probably using a link to my Jen’s Writing Desk, which I’ve since combined with this blog. And, hmm, haven’t put up too many writing-tip posts since.

If you’re not a Dr. Who fan, you probably didn’t get most of the video. It’s a fun show, even if David Tennant isn’t the Doctor anymore. (The Doctor, being a Time Lord, can regenerate – keeping his memories but not his body.) All the old episodes are on Netflix, etc. If you’re like me, DON’T watch the ones from the 1970s – they’re really campy and low budget. Well, these can be too, but much much better.

The next Sunday Funnies is a hilarious hippo and sidekick, which anyone will get. See you back soon!
