I wish I didn’t have to lay out the rules like this, but too many people believe that 1) if something is posted online, it’s all right to post it somewhere else, or 2) it’s all right to post something if you put the author’s name with it. Neither is true, so . . .
All posts and articles are © Jennifer Jensen, unless otherwise noted. Permission must be given to reprint any full or partial posts/articles. This means:
- You may post a short excerpt (about 50 words) on your site when you include a link back to the original post/article.
- You may summarize my original post/article (or portions of it) in your own words, if you include a link back.
- You may share my posts/articles via e-mail, FaceBook, Twitter, etc. as long as you include a link to the original post/article.
- You may NOT copy a post/article to put on your blog/website, even if you use my name as the author.
- You may NOT print copies of articles or posts to distribute in a class, group, etc., or include in a newsletter unless you have prior written permission. When you have permission, you must include my name, copyright info, and the url: http://jenswritingdesk.jenniferjensen.com.
- Please e-mail me at jennifer (at) jenniferjensen (dot) com for permission. (I have yet to say “no” to a teacher!)
I try hard to honor copyrights when I post photos. They are generally used under a Creative Commons license, and hovering over the photo will give you the photographer’s name and the site from which I downloaded it. If you wish to use one of these photos, please go to the original site to read the use requirements.
If there is no credit shown, they are my own photographs and I hold the copyright. Please do not re-use them without permission.

Book Reviews & Advertising:
Books reviewed come from one of three sources: purchased, borrowed from a friend or the library, or provided by the author or publisher. Most are my own books, but regardless of the source, reviews are my own opinion and are not influenced by the author or publisher.
